Chaplain's Religious Enrichment Development Operations -C.R.E.D.O.-

C.R.E.D.O. is a retreat-based program started in 1972 by a Navy Chaplain. Since that time CREDO has developed into a multifaceted retreat program located worldwide. Retreats are offered to enable Marines and their families to develop personal and spiritual resources, grow toward increased functional ability, and accept responsibility. Retreats feature personal growth, marriage enrichment, teen, and team building. CREDO provides individuals with an opportunity to:

  • Develop personal and spiritual growth
  • Build self-confidence
  • Improve relationships
  • Resolve personal issues
  • Learn to handle anger more constructively
  • Improve communication skills
  • Establish new friendships
  • Strengthen a marriage
  • Relax
 
Retreats offered by C.R.E.D.O.

  • Personal Growth Retreat - (72 hours) The cornerstone of CREDO, the PGR is a unique opportunity to address personal issues and meet new people. Spouses CANNOT attend together. Furthermore, this retreat is strongly recommended for those who wish to attend either the Marriage Enrichment or the Spiritual Growth Retreat.
  • Marriage Enrichment Retreat - (48 hours) This weekend offers couples an opportunity to strengthen and develop their marital skills.
