Hearts Apart Support Group (Thursdays from 10:00-11:00)
The Support Group focuses on the emotional cycles of deployment, long distance communication, and preparing for the reunion.
Beyond the Brief "The Rest of the Story" (2.0 Hours)
Beyond the Brief workshop topics are Adjusting Family Roles, Emotional Cycle of Reunion for couples, Safe and Sound at home and many other topics.
In the Midst for Spouses (2.0 Hours)
In the Midst will allow spouses to focus on themselves. It's fun, educational, and relaxing.
Survival of the Finest Workshop for Spouses (2.5 Hours)
Gain tools through education, enhance communication skills, enhance techniques of relieving stress, encourage and enhance skills to keep spouses motivated and relaxed.
In the Midst for Kids (1.5 Hours) ages 4-18
In the Midst is a series of 4 venues. Each venue is age appropriate fun and educational.
Return and Reunion Workshops for Families (2 Hours)
Welcoming home your service member after deployment can be exciting and stressful.
This workshop is designed to help families have a smooth and sucessful reunion.
Return and Reunion for Children (2 Hours)
Workshop that delivers the tools needed for children and parents to postively and successfully adjust to the return of the deployed parent.
Post Deployment Workshop for Spouses
(Thursdays - 11:45-1:00pm) also out at
TBS Austin Hall (Thursdays - 2:30-3:30pm)
Support Group focuses on the physical and themotional effect of deployment as well as coping skills for the long term post deployment cycle.
