• Classes open to all MCCS authorized patrons. Authorized patrons include, Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, and their family members, as well as Quantico DoD.
• Class payments are due to Rec/ITT on the 20th of each month, or the next business day if the 20th falls on a weekend, holiday or when the gear office is closed.
• Payments received after due date will be subject to a $5.00 late fee per student.

Gymnastics
Tuesdays. Location: Larson Gym

• Tot Play with Gymnastics (1530-1620)
  • Emphasis on gross motor development.
  • Cost: $26 per month
  • Ages: 1 to 2
  • Class limit: 20

• Kinder Gym (1630-1720)
  • Introduced to the balance beam, vault,  bars, & tumbling.
  • Cost: $50 (Six weeks)
  • Ages: 3-5 years old
  • Class limit: 10
    
• Beginner Gymnastics (1730-1820)
  • Students learn basic gymnastics skills & techniques on balance beam, bars, vault & tumbling.
  • Cost: $50 (Six weeks)
  • Ages: 6-10 years old
  • Class limit: 10

  Register on Tuesday & Wednesday at Rec/ITT in the MCX. Class payments made on a per month basis. Required one time Registration Fee: Single Student - $20, Family - $35. No Registration Fee for Tot Play. Classes held in Larson Gym. Class space reserved on a first-come; first-serve basis.

  Proper attire for gymnastics:

  • Girls: Gymnastic leotards; gymnastic shoes or bare feet; hair pulled back.
  • Boys: Biker shorts and t-shirt.

Dance
Saturdays. Location: Larson Gym

• Pre-Ballet & Tap (1600-1650)
  • Basic dance techniques are taught.
  • Cost: $50 (Six weeks)
  • Ages: 3.5 to 6 years old
  • Class limit: 15
    
• Jazz/Hip-Hop (1700-1830)
  • Beginner fast paced pumpin moves in a pop-group made Fun, Easy, Funky & Flirty with street smart attitude.
  • Cost: $37 (Three weeks)
  • Ages: 7& up
  • Class limit: No Limit

Proper attire for Ballet and Tap:

• Plain leotard, pink tights.
• Pink ballet shoes.
• Black tap shoes.
• Jazz pants.
• Black oxford jazz shoes or light weight tennis shoes.
• Hair up.

Martial Arts

The MCCS Martial Arts Program is a recreational program, currently offering Kempo Karate and Judo/Jujitsu. The instructor is affiliated with the World Black Belt Bureau (WBBB). Students may register at the Gear Issue office during operating hours. This program is open to all Active Duty, family members, Retirees, Reservists, and Quantico DoD civilians. Classes are held at Larson Gym.
