- Yoga Classes
Tuesday & Thursday, 1130, and Monday & Thursday, 1700 w Barber Physical Activity Center. All classes are for fee under Group Exercise schedule.
Increases flexibility, strength and muscle tone, and decreases tension by incorporating a balance of stretching, strengthening, and relaxation techniques. Exercises are easy to do and are beneficial regardless of age or physical condition. Two classes weekly.Tense? Tired? Stressed? Yoga is your answer!

The class addresses various types of cholesterol levels.
- HEALTHY COOKING CLASSES
Demonstrates healthy cooking alternatives to many popular food items. Food sampling, recipes and educational material are included.
- MANAGING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE
This class emphasizes smart dietary choices, exercise and lifestyle modifications. The class also addresses risk factors associated with the development of high blood pressure.
- NUTRITION CLASS
One-hour class discusses basics of healthy eating and nutrition and will get you started on a healthy eating plan whether it is to keep your body healthy or to lose weight. Class focus is on developing healthy eating habits for a lifetime, and covers basic nutrition concepts for disease prevention. Held monthly in the Semper Fit Center.
- STRESS MANAGEMENT REDUCTION
2nd Thursday of each month, 1000
- TOBACCO CESSATION CLASSES
One three-hour session, offered monthly, focuses on breaking the "Addiction Triangle" which includes strategies to overcome both physical and psychological/social addiction to nicotine. Nicotine replacement therapies
are offered to eligible beneficiaries.
- WOMEN'S/MEN'S HEALTH
Focuses on current health issues, including breast cancer, mammography, diet and self exams.

the body using techniques of stroking, kneading, compression, friction, stretching and pressure.
Benefits of Massage
Among the many benefits of massage are increased circulation
and the removal of toxins, soreness and tension from the
muscles of the body. Massage relaxes both body and mind
and reduces accumulated stress.
