Child Development Center (CDC)

The age requirements are: 6 weeks - 12 years
There are two CDC facilities:
CDC North, 3311 Purvis Rd.
CDC South, 3314 Purvis Rd.
CDC Facilities Hours of Operation: 0600-1800
CDC North is DoD and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) certified. CDC South will go through accreditation after being open 1 year.
Both facilities offer classrooms that accommodate children according to their age, developmental age and any special needs. They both participate in a USDA sponsored program that ensures your child receives healthy nutritional meals. Two meals and one snack are provided daily, Monday through Friday.
The CDC North and South offers the following programs:
Age Requirements: 6 weeks - 5 years
Space is limited and only available to families with a non-working spouse. You must contact each center for reservations, CDC North, 703-784-4470 or CDC South, 703-784-3652.
Reservations taken two weeks in advance.
