Barber Physical Activity Center (BPAC)
The Barber Physical Activity Center is a 57,000 square foot facility that opened in Spring 2004. It houses Physical Fitness, Health Promotion, Athletics and Youth Sports. The facility offers a large variety of recreational opportunities with a 9,600 square foot fitness deck, group exercise room, spin studio, functional fitness room, three racquetball courts and one full-sized basketball court. It also offers a TV and Wi-Fi lounge, smoothie bar, child co-op, locker rooms and separate saunas for men and women.
Parking is available at the Center and in adjacent parking lots across the street at Barnett Field and next to Butler Stadium.
All patrons must present proper identification to enter Barber Physical Activity Center. 100% ID check. Exception: Active Duty in uniform (This does not include PT uniform green-on-green). Patrons are required to present their IDs to the customer service front desk staff and log in on the touch screen to identify eligibility.
Contractors working aboard MCB Quantico may access BPAC for a $5.00 per day daily fee or $40.00 per month for a monthly pass to use BPAC facilities.
Effective 1 March 2013, Men and Women monthly rental lockers will be available at BPAC for DoD, Retirees, Family Members, and Contractors assigned to MCB Quantico. Locker fees will be assessed.
- Childcare Co-Op
A co-op is available to Active Duty, Reservists, and Retiree family members for children ages 6 weeks and older.
Parents may choose from:
Parents volunteer to baby-sit in the co-op three times a month, and may then use the co-op as much as they want for the rest of the month. Parents provide their own diapers and snacks. Toys are provided.
